What is Pilates?


Pilates is great for people of all ages and abilities. Our goal is to help clients reach their potential in a supportive, energizing, and fun learning environment while moving.

Pilates is a system of movement and therapeutic exercises that was developed by Joseph H. Pilates, a physical therapy pioneer born in Germany over a period of 60 years.  Pilates is designed to stretch, strengthen, and balance the body through a series of exercises using specialized equipment to help prevent future injuries and/or alleviate chronic pain.
